Hello fellas,
Who doesn't love a cute packaging? I am a sucker for packaging, you know. The product could be useless for all I care, if the packaging is cute, I am sold. Too Faced has to be on the top of the list of the cute packaging brands or awards, if there were such awards. I would actually like to be a judge of that award show. Like who comes up with their heart shaped blushes & Bronzers that look like medals from ancient Greek. Em, getting a little side tracked aren't we?
Anyways, I wanted to review their " Born this way" Foundation for you guys.
When I first swatched it at Sephora, I was impressed, because usually foundations are thick and gloopy and it had such a smooth and silky consistency. I believe it has 24 shades in total for all skin types. It is said to be medium to full coverage. It is oil free. It is infused with coconut and alpine rose* no idea what that is. But it is supposed to brighten the skin. Anyways, it has a total of 1.0 oz of product in it. I would say I love their color range. It is medium coverage for me because I have pores and textured skin and I need a primer to cover that. It looks like silk on skin and blends in really well. It doesn't look too heavy or cakey on the face which is always a good thing. I haven't got a negative thing to say about it but I would say it's on the pricey side. And I believe there are always alternative options that are affordable, for those who wouldn't like to spend that much. Many drugstore products give the same result or do the same job, so it's not like your missing out on something. Some of my favorites from the drugstores are Burjois & Rimmel's Foundations.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this not-so-mini review,
With lots of love,
Lala.
