Hello fellas,
"Is the high light too much?" Sundus asks at a wedding. "A high light can NEVER be TOO MUCH" is what I thought but replied " Of course Not!". And we go ahead and compliment each other. (the kind of things girls do).
You know that a high light is good when you need sunglasses to talk to the person because you cant look at that bolt of beaming glow/light. Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration. Nonetheless, the glow was there and being a high light freak I loved it.
I quickly asked her what product she was using and made a mental note to purchase it. I was planing on buying it but what do you know? my sister bought it before I did and anything my sister own's is basically mine.
So, I got to use it and here are my thoughts.
I love the contour and high light in this palette but the blush not so much. I am not a fan of shimmery blushers but it does look good when applied. I just prefer matte over shimmery because shimmery cheeks look funny to me. My sister loves it and it looks good on her. Just thought I would put it out there. The contour color is just perfect cool toned brown. It blends easily and doesn't look muddy. I even use it sometimes as a bronzer on a fluffy brush with a very light hand to give some shadow to the face and it looks great. Its one of the best contour shades that I have tried. The high light is really hard to touch like not buttery or creamy like you would think but the result is amazing. Its not too intense and not too subtle its somewhere in between. I loved it and I use it. But I have better high lighters. Considering the price point, you cant beat it because its 4 or 5 BD on sale. Its one of the best things if you are in school or you are a beginner in makeup and need to try things out without spending too much. I wouldn't recommend it if you just want to buy it for the contour or high light alone, I mean you could get better deals with different brands.
Anyways, that is it for my review,
I hope you enjoyed it,
With lots of love,
Lala
