I decided to jump on the bronzer bandwagon just out of curiosity. Growing up in an Asian family, you know your mom would freak out if you exhibit any signs of getting tanned. Apparently, the standard of beauty is “Dracula white”. In my teens, when I was a tomboy, my mom opposed the idea of joining football club just because I would get dark. I had no concept of bronzer until I was introduced to youtube world.
A few days later, I was standing in front of the Rimmel London Isle. Scanning through the products, while the sales lady chatted away, trying her best to persuade me to buy everything. I ended up buying the bronzer in 025 SUNGLOW.
The packaging is rather flimsy but compared to the price I won’t mind. It is "affordable" I got mine for around 4 BD. The product claims to have SPF 15, is waterproof and long lasting. After having tried it for months, I wouldn't agree with those claims.The color does linger but its fades away after a few hours. And I tested it with water and again it did wash away. Initially, when I watched it, there was no pigmentation, but when you apply it to the face, there is a definite glow. If you are into cool toned matte bronzer’s this isn’t for you. It is slightly warm-toned and has a sheen to it. I used it on my sisters and it applied really well, gives a really nice golden bronzed look. I would say if you want to try bronzer as a beginner or even if you want to try a new brand. This does a great job and I enjoy using it.
